Special Issue Topic

With the development of globalization and information technology, thinkings and practices in enterprise management are changing rapidly. A totally unheard-of practice of yesterday may quickly evolve to become a widely studied benchmark and model of tomorrow. In the face of an ever-changing business landscape, how to effectively incentivize and lead employees and how to refine firms' human resource management results have become the top topics and challenges in academia and in practice. Thus, the Journal of Management and Business Research will publish a “New Thinkings in Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management” special issue. We broadly and cordially invite scholars in related fields to put forward original theory or empirical papers (including both qualitative and quantitative research) related to important issues in organizational behavior and human resource management. Relevant topics include but are not limited to:

  • Human resource management (recruitment, selection, training and development, performance management, salary management, labor relations, strategic human resource management, etc.)
  • Organizational behavior (incentives, leadership, cognition and emotion, conflicts, teamwork and team operations, communication and negotiations, etc.)
  • Other contemporary hot topics—such as social media, big data, artificial intelligence, New Southbound Policy, and globalization—and their impact on organizational behavior and human resource management.

Instructions for Submissions to This Special Issue

  • Submission fee of NT$3,000 is exempt for this issue.
  • For paper format requirements, please refer to the formats and provisions of the Journal of Management and Business Research.
  • To submit a paper, please email the electronic files of the following three documents to jom@mail.management.org.tw: the full text of the anonymous paper (either in Chinese or English), author's information form, and submission instructions.
  • Manuscripts are reviewed at the time of receipt.
